Originally growing up in Reno, Cyrus left to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Asian American Studies at Pitzer College. Throughout his life he has been enthusiastic about healthcare and the pursuit of holistic wellness; this prompted him to attend the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon immediately after graduating, where he earned the degree of Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) in 2024. He is passionate about rock climbing and the outdoors, spending much of his free time in Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada’s bouldering. Through his own experiences rock climbing, Cyrus has a special interest in treating finger, hand, and arm injuries/pain, as well as other conditions resulting from high impact sports. Since returning to Reno, Cyrus is a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine (OMD) in the state of Nevada and holds the certificate Diplomate of Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine, with the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM).
